Funk Master Flex was just stating his opinion on the real Alpo (which Cam’Ron played in the movie Paid In Full) and people started going in on him on Facebook. Flex’s ideology might have been that people shouldn’t worship Alpo for how successful he was in the streets, especially because he killed his friend and told on some people.

Regardless of the comments, Flex’s post does have some relatable truth in it, in regards to the hip hop culture where rappers are idolized like prophets, because of the money, designer clothes, expensive drugs, and groupies they have by the flock. But then again, maybe Flex knew this would cause a reaction and that’s why he posted it 🙂
