Inside The Hodgkins UPS Facility For Holiday Mail Traffic

Jobs, jobs and more jobs are comping to Arlington thanks to United Parcel Service Inc. The company says it plans to build a $200 million package-handing center to help handle the increase in shipping volumes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

UPS and their rival, FedEx have both been investigating new plants and new technologies/equipment to handle the growth in deliveries due to more online shopping.

The new Arlington plant will be completed late next year and employ the equivalent of about 1,400 full-time workers.
