The judge in Montgomery County has made a major ruling in Bill Cosby upcoming sex assault trial. Prosecutors wanted to have 13 of the women with similar allegations of the sexual assault of Cosby to be called to testify. The judge ruled that only one other accuser can testify at the trial. The trial is set to start in June.
Cosby is facing a decade behind bars and fines if he is found guilty of three felony charges of second degree aggravated indecent assault. The ruling means Cosby will not have to face a dozen women who claimed the actor assaulted or drugged them over the decades.
Spokesman for Cosby said that Mr. Cosby has “no comment at this present time.”
