Four masked men who tied up an elderly couple during a home invasion are on the loose. According to Irving police, the armed men threw a cinder block into the home in the 1000 block of Fouts Drive Wednesday morning around 3:30 a.m.

They tied up Eason, 82, and Pat Wright, 76 and ransacked the home. Pat, who suffers from arthritis, was able to free herself and call 911 after the men fled. They also severely beat Eason with a pistol and he had to be taken to the hospital.

The men mostly spoke Spanish but were clear about what they came for. Pat said, “They were nosing around saying ‘I want your money. I want your money.”

Police are searching for the four masked men and think there is a connection with a home invasion that occurred in Dallas. Eason remains hospitalized.
