It’s beginning to feel like Christmas! What better way to enjoy the holiday season is by touring some of the best Christmas Lights display in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. So pack up the kids and gas up the car to see some the amazing Christmas decorations and light displays. Here’s my list of some the best places to checkout in the DFW!

  • KESSLER NEIGHBORHOOD PARK…in historic Oak Cliff, this neighborhood showcases thousands of lights with beautifully decorated homes.
  • INTERLOCHEN NEIGHBORHOOD…in Arlington, this has been tradition for years for folks in Tarrant County. The tour begins at Randol Mill at Westwood, just west of Cooper Street.
  • Deerfield…Located between Preston & Coit in West Plano. You can walk, drive, or ride a horse carriage to see the lights.
  • PRAIRIE LIGHTS… with a large following and over four million lights on display within a two-mile tour. This has to be one of the best shows around, plus half way through your drive, you are able to get out of your car to play in their Holiday Village. Inside you’ll find Santa, concessions, lighted forest and a holiday magic theater.
  • HIGHLAND PARK…This community is approximately 20 blocks long. Your best bet is to start your light tour at Armstrong and Preston. A must see are the lights on Beverly.
